Colleague Reviews
“Just wanted to tell you what a terrific job Christin has done for the sculpture committee. First, she is perfectly delightful to work with; always positive and has a wonderful attitude. And, she is very creative, does excellent work and gets the work done on time with no reminding. All of us, especially Andrea and I, have thoroughly enjoyed working with her. Finally Christin has been a tremendous help to us all year long.
Thank you so much for allowing wonderful Christin to help the sculpture group.”

“It has been my pleasure to work with Christin for the past several years. Her upbeat attitude, professionalism, flexibility and talent have time and time again proven to be the lynchpin of many of our successful bids. She is certainly one of the finest assets of our organization and I am constantly reminded of how lucky we are to have her on our team.”

“Christin is not only efficient and timely in her graphics assignments for the LRRM, but her creativity and ability to get a feel for the personality of an event we are hosting with just minimal description from me is a huge asset for LRCVB and the LRRM.
She nails it, most of the time right out of the gate and if not then, with minimal edits or other back and forth. If I’ve left off something that would be graphically / visually important she addresses that, but in a positive manner.
She’s good about following up and asking legit questions after having tried to think through the project for answers first. This is Huge. Sometimes we have the luxury of planning graphics in advance but sometimes things need to happen on the fly and Christin is able to work under both circumstances without freaking out when things need to happen on the fly.
Some of the things I’ve said to Christin in response to presented graphic projects include:
“OMG, I love, love love this!” “You read my mind, this is Exactly what I was looking for” and “Have I told you lately how you’re one of my most favorite people to work with here? So quick and responsive and just good at your job. Thanks!!”

“I just wanted to let you know how great I think Christin is doing as the lone graphics person right now. We had a conference call with a client in which I thought she was engaged and provided valuable input. She’s also been quick to turn requests around and is great at following up on upcoming projects! I just wanted to give kudos where kudos was due… Thanks!”

“I am hereby endorsing, with the highest possible emphasis, Ms. Christin Byrd for the position of Creative Services Manager at the Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau. I have known and worked with Ms. Byrd since 2012, when she joined our team in the role of Graphic and Web Designer. For the past seven years I’ve had the pleasure to work with her on an almost day-to-day basis. During that time, we have tackled tasks and projects ranging from simple, quick edits to complex, long-term projects requiring creativity, conceptual and procedural planning, attention to detail and precise execution. Ms. Byrd has exceeded my expectations on every level of these projects. Christin has approached each and every job with the same positive attitude, energy and excitement that is her hallmark.
It is my professional opinion that Ms. Byrd not only possesses incredible technical skill with the requisite software and digital programs needed to excel in this position, she also possesses boundless creativity, enthusiasm and initiative that make her ideal for this role. Her ability to provide exceptional content while juggling multiple projects at once while working with internal and external stakeholders is nothing short of exemplary. She has always presented herself in a manner fitting of a managerial role and would be an ideal ambassador for our team and the LRCVB as a whole.
Not only does Ms. Byrd have the attributes I’ve listed above, she is also in possession of unique assets that should separate her from the pack in the earliest stages of consideration. I’m referring to her near seven years of work as a member of our team. That level of institutional knowledge, understanding of the travel and tourism sector and LRCVB’s place within our profession is something that few, if any, applicants can claim to possess before working in an office like our own. I know she loves and adores Little Rock, this company and her teammates. I sincerely hope she is your choice for the role of Creative Services Manager, because I am excited to see what her passion, creativity and determination can do for our marketing efforts.
I am happy to discuss her qualifications and skills or answer any questions you may have about why Ms. Byrd is ideally suited for this role. “
